Under the clear skies of Sierra Morena, in Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo (Córdoba), a different kind of night awaits you. The Guadiato Valley is a Starlight Tourist Destination, a privileged place to look at the universe away from light pollution.
We begin with an introduction to astronomy to learn how to orient ourselves in the sky: recognize the North, read the sky and understand what we will observe depending on the time of year.
Then, we will experience a guided observation with professional telescopes, accompanied by a certified Starlight monitor. We will identify planets, stars and constellations, and we will peek into nebulae and galaxies when conditions permit.
It is a didactic, sustainable experience for all audiences. Two hours of astronomical excitement in the middle of nature, with practical tips to enjoy it to the fullest and the desire to repeat every time you look up.
