Discover the origin of life and Dinosaurs
We take advantage of an incomparable natural setting to explore the origin of life on earth, the appearance of the first species and the Dinosaurs, and the evolution and formation of Andalusia since 600 million years ago.
The Cañada Verde Nature Center is a Nature Classroom in the heart of the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park (Córdoba). It offers its facilities and environment to families, couples, educational centers and other groups with a wide variety of activities.
In the Cañada Verde Nature Center you can find, Nature Classroom, Enchanted Forest, Farm and Wildlife Park, Multi-adventure Park and Hotel and Restaurant with infinity pool.

The price includes
From 10,30 to 12,00 a.m.
- Walk of 1.5 kms. in length and 1.5 hours, through what are now fossil beaches and fossil cliffs of the Miocene era, when the Sea of Tetis bathed our shores in Sierra Morena, with a landscape full of charm and mystery, and under the supervision and assistance of specialized monitors.
- During the walk we will discover all kinds of vestiges that explain what happened in these lands 600 million years ago.
- We will see fossil beaches and fossil cliffs, fossil whale ribs, fossil scallops, giant shells,
ostroids, bivalves, clypeasters, cist tombs, Miocene shelters, Moorish caves, etc.
- We will also study the evolution of mammals up to the current fauna of the park that we will be able to see in semi-freedom.
We will observe different animals, wild boars,
deer, etc.

Cancellation policy
The cancellation of the reservation may imply the return of part of the money paid, depending on the moment in which it occurs:
- 100% refund – up to 2 weeks before the reservation date.
- 50% refund - up to 1 week before.
- No refund within the last seven days.
- No refund in partial cancellations (any absent person).
- Date or time changes can be possible up to 10 days before the arranged date, subject to availability and with 3 € charge over each of the places of the reservations arranged.
If unfavourable weather conditions, a date change could be requested when availability allows or ask for a full refund.
