The Prehistoric Trail with Wild Animal Sighting is an educational and nature experience that is part of the tourism proposals in Cordoba more oriented to learning and direct contact with the environment. The activity takes place in the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park, a privileged natural setting to explore the origin of life on Earth, the appearance of the first species, the age of dinosaurs and the geological evolution of Andalusia for more than 600 million years.
The tour runs along an interpretive trail that combines scientific dissemination and nature walk. Along the route, the processes that shaped the Andalusian territory and its biodiversity are explained in an entertaining way, adapting the contents to all audiences and encouraging curiosity and active learning in a real environment.
During the tour, there is also the possibility of watching wild animals such as vultures, deer or wild boars in their natural habitat. This observation is always done with respect for the environment, making the activity a complete experience that unites knowledge, emotion and nature.
The activity takes place at the Cañada Verde Nature Center, a Nature Classroom located in the heart of the Sierra de Hornachuelos. The center offers its facilities and environment to families, couples, educational centers and organized groups, expanding the experience beyond the trail.
At Cañada Verde it is also possible to enjoy the Nature Classroom, the Enchanted Forest, the Farm School, the Multi-adventure Park and rural lodging with restaurant and infinity pool, which makes this proposal an ideal option for those seeking tourism in Cordoba linked to environmental education, natural history and enjoyment of the environment.
