Discover at Bodegas Pérez Barquero the soul of the Pedro Ximénez grape.
Enjoy an experience to deepen your understanding of the versatility of the Pedro Ximénez grape and the diversity of wines it can produce, guided by specialized staff from the winery.
Explore our facilities and discover how this emblematic variety transforms into styles as distinct as unfortified finos, amontillados, olorosos, and naturally sweet raisin wines, as well as the unique characteristics that distinguish the Montilla wineries from other wine regions: albariza soils, climate, tradition, and a solera and criadera system with its own identity.
The tour culminates in the 'Sacristía' with a tasting of five wines that showcase the full expressive range of Pedro Ximénez, from a young white to vermouth, followed by the 10-year-old GB fino, and a choice of old generoso wines (25-year-old Amontillado or 25-year-old Oloroso), finishing with a sweet PX.

- Guided tour with tasting of 5 wines (from 18 years old): €22/person.
- Guided tour without tasting (from 18 years old): €6/person.
- Guided tour for children from 6 to 17 years old: €3/person.
- Children’s visit (up to 5 years old): free of charge.
*Children enjoy a tasting of non-alcoholic grape must.

- The activity takes place at Bodegas Pérez Barquero, located in the heart of the Montilla-Moriles Denomination of Origin, renowned for its high-quality fortified wines, twice awarded 100 Parker points.
- This experience is aimed at wine lovers, wine tourists, groups of friends, couples, and adult families who wish to discover the winemaking process of Montilla-Moriles fortified wines and enjoy a unique guided tasting in a traditional and authentic setting.
- The winery is accessible and adapted for all visitors.
- The activity is primarily designed for adults; however, children are welcome to join and may accompany their parents during the tasting with a non-alcoholic grape must, always under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Instructions when buying a gift voucher
Our gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be redeemed on any available date within this period. After this time, the voucher will no longer be valid and will be cancelled.
Upon purchase, you will receive two vouchers: one with the redemption code, and another voucher (without prices) that you may send as a gift with a personalized dedication to the recipient of your choice.
