An educational and family experience to discover animals, nature and adventure in the heart of the Sierra de Hornachuelos.
The Visit to the Cañada Verde Farm School is an educational and participatory experience designed to connect with nature in a direct way, especially attractive for families and children. Through a guided tour, participants walk along a path with different stops where they get to know the farm animals up close and learn about their care and feeding.
During the activity, children can collect eggs from the henhouse, feed the hatchlings and actively participate in simple tasks related to animal welfare. Throughout the tour they interact with sheep, goats, donkeys, ducks, geese, peacocks, rabbits and piglets, among others, fostering a close, respectful and fun experience.
The Cañada Verde Nature Center team develops its own educational programs that integrate values such as respect for the environment, coexistence and teamwork. These contents are worked on in a cross-cutting manner, adapting to different age groups and turning the visit into an educational and experiential activity.
Cañada Verde is a Nature Classroom located in the heart of the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park (Córdoba). The center offers a privileged environment with restaurant services, rural accommodation with infinity pool and spaces designed to accommodate families, couples, educational centers and organized groups.
The experience is completed with a visit to the Enchanted Forest, a unique almeces forest unique in Europe, where you can discover spaces such as the stone gardens, the bandit cave or the crystalline aquifer, learning about the geology of Andalusia and its biodiversity. For those looking for an extra point of adventure, the site also has a Multi-adventure Park with zip lines, suspension bridges and climbing wall, as well as organized activities such as the orienteering race or the Escape Forest.
Cañada Verde also offers hiking, kayaking on the Bembézar River, themed routes, rappelling and nature workshops, as well as specific activities for children. All this in a pet friendly environment, ideal to disconnect from routine and enjoy nature tourism in Cordoba in a complete and different way.

The price includes
- Walk of 1 km. distance and 1.5 hours of duration, through an ancient Miocene river with a landscape full of charm and mystery, and under the supervision and help of specialized monitors.

- During the walk we will feed a wide variety of animals: rabbits, ducks, piglets, geese, goats, sheep, peacocks, chickens, donkeys, etc. And the guide will explain the characteristics and curiosities of all these animals.
- We will also be able to see a multitude of birds in freedom around us, blackfinches, greenfinches, goldfinches, nightingales, wrens, swallows, hoopoes, woodlarks, blackbirds, blackbirds, chickadees, robins, even some days

Cancellation policy
The cancellation of the reservation may imply the return of part of the money paid, depending on the moment in which it occurs:
- 100% refund – up to 2 weeks before the reservation date.
- 50% refund - up to 1 week before.
- No refund within the last seven days.
- No refund in partial cancellations (any absent person).
- Date or time changes can be possible up to 10 days before the arranged date, subject to availability and with 3 € charge over each of the places of the reservations arranged.
If unfavourable weather conditions, a date change could be requested when availability allows or ask for a full refund.
